Revenge is a selfish reaction to perceived injustice. It is only contemplated in order to bring an anticipated measure of comfort to oneself. In actuality, revenge brings no comfort it only brings more heartache. It is best left to the Lord, "...revenge is mine, I will repay saith the Lord..."

One who is truly full of selfless love, will never seek revenge, but will "..turn the other cheek..."

Oh, that we would be full of the love of God for it is the only real love. It is the only true love. It is the kind of love that Jesus had. It was this love that led the thief on the cross to identify Jesus as the Messiah. It is the kind of love that still draws people today.
