Pastor Daryl Clenney was born in Jackson, TN. Mrs. Clenney was born
in Liberty, TX. They met while attending Jackson College of Ministries,
Jackson MS. Their friendship began by studying together. Their friend
-ship grew, and before long, he was convinced that she was the one for
him. Thankfully he was able to convince her of that!
Pastor Clenney spent his early childhood years in Alabama
as the son of a Pastor, and his teenage years in Africa after his father
became a missionary. He received the Holy Ghost at the age of 18 in Nairobi,
Kenya and felt his call to the ministry shortly thereafter. Stephanie
Clenney was also brought up in this great truth in Moss Hill, TX under
Pastor J.E. Dillon. She received the Holy Ghost at the age of 14 and has
remained faithful to God every since. She attributes what she is today
to two very special women in her life. Her mother, Dorothy Brashier and
her pastor's wife, Glenda Wallace. Stephanie is blessed with a beautiful
voice and she is a very talented musician. Besides her love for music,
Stephanie enjoys crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles, baking, and being
with her family. When Pastor Clenney is not preaching or studying the
Word, he enjoys the outdoors...hunting...fishing...sports, and people.
His friendly smile and warm handshake make each visitor and each saint
welcome at church.
Pastor and Mrs. Clenney have been married since November
3rd, 1990. Their daughter, Kaitlyn, who celebrated her 8th birthday November
16th, 2003, has brought much joy into their lives; and if her talent exhibited
playing the tamborine and drums is any indication of her musical abilities,
we'd say she is following in her mother's footsteps. She is a student
at Stewart Elementary School and is loving every minute of it.
We are thankful the Lord sent the Clenney's to Huntville
Pentecostal Church. Their desire is to see the church in Huntsville flourish
and their prayer is for the salvation of the lost souls of this city.
