LINDA
ZOLMAN
Linda Zolman and her husband, Jimmy, were born 700 miles apart. He was born in Gideo, Missouri, and she was born in Houston, Texas. They met at a volley ball game at church. They were part of the youth group of Grace Tabernacle, pastored by Bro. C. E. Lott, in Galena Park, Texas. That "friendship" at the volley ball game led to him asking her for a date after revival service one night in February 1962. That "first date" led to a more serious romance; and that romance led to marriage. They were married in November 1962. They have two daughters, two sons, and nine grandchildren. Sis. Linda loves to cook and sew; and because of her "green thumb" she also loves to plant flowers and see them grow. Sis. Linda's Pentecostal background goes back to the time of her childhood. When she was ten years old, her Aunt Shirley Davidson (Linda's grandmother's daughter) received the Holy Ghost. Aunt Shirley witnessed to her family and as a result, the rest of Linda's family received the Holy Ghost. They were one of the founding families to help start Life Tabernacle in Houston, now pastored by Bro. Kilgore. In fact, some of the first services held in the forming of Life Tabernacle were held in Sis. Linda's Uncle Bud Turner's front yard. Sis. Linda desires to be a witness for the Lord, and to be used of God in whatever capacity He would want to use her. She would like for us to pray with her that her husband and her children will be saved. We thank God
for Sis. Linda and are so glad that she is part of Huntsville Pentecostal
Church. She has a wonderful spirit and such a Christ-like attitude. |
