DON AND BETH TRUMPS

Don and Beth Trumps are native Texans. He was born in Orange, Texas; and she was born in Baytown. They are both fourth generation Pentecost. Both of their dads were United Pentecostal ministers. Bro. J. L. Creel, Beth's dad, pastored in Casper, Wyoming from 1971 - 1989. Bro. Martin Trumps, Don's dad, pastored several different churches between the years 1946 and 1988. Beth and Don consider it a great priviledge to have such a rich Pentecostal heritage.

Don received the Holy Ghost in High Island, Texas when he was nine years old. Beth received the Holy Ghost at a children's chapel on Texas Camp Grounds when she was eight years old.

Church has always been a very important part of both of their lives. In fact, they met at church. Beth was attending Peace Tabernacle in Baytown. Don's job brought him to Baytown from Tyler, Texas. They were both very involved in the youth activities at church. From becoming mutual friends in youth activities, that friendship grew as they began dating. They especially enjoyed riding their "bicycle built for two." After dating two years they became engaged; and they have now been married for thirty two years.

They have one son, Chad, and one grandson, Ashton, who is 17 months old. You can tell by the twinkle in their eyes that they love and adore that grandson, and their delight is in spending time with him. Beth and Don love traveling the back roads of East Texas together, and they enjoy having Ashton with them.

Beth enjoys going to antique shops and thrift stores. Don, in his leisure time, likes riding his bicycle here in East Texas. They moved from Colorado 1 ½ years ago in order to be closer to their children and grandson; and we certainly are all delighted that the move brought them to Huntsville Pentecostal Church.

Don's desires to be instrumental in leading others to God. Beth wants to be a witness to others and to help those she comes in contact with to receive the revelation of Jesus' Name baptism and the Oneness of God. They both anticipate seeing a great endtime revival in America. Their prayer is that God will lead and direct them in every aspect of their lives.
