THE TOM NALLEY FAMILY

Tom and Dorothy Nalley were born in different parts of the United States 1000 miles apart. Tom was born in Pineville, Lousiana; and Dorothy was born in Charleston, West Virginia. Bro. Doug Rashall pastored the church that Dorothy attended in Charleston. Upon his resignation, the Rashalls moved to Texas, where he became pastor in LaMarque; and that is where Bro. Tom Nalley attended church. Sis. Rashall arranged for Tom and Dorothy to meet, and that was the beginning of a great romance, and of course that romance led to marriage. Tom, with his three children, and Dorothy with her one child, merged to become one happy family.

Dorothy is second generation Pentecost, and received the Holy Ghost in Charleston fifty years ago. Tom received the Holy Ghost at Apostolic Temple in Pasadena forty years ago. They both attended Bible College; Tom at TBC, and Dorothy at Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul.

Through the years Tom and Dorothy have been active in various church ministries, such as song leading, youth activities, missions, and in later years ladies and men's ministries. Their delight is seeing the work of the Lord progress.

Now that they are retired, they also enjoy vacationing and, of course, Tom enjoys the challenges, relaxation and exercise that a game of golf presents.

They both would like to thank everyone who fervently prayed for a miracle last November at the time of crises in their lives. The Lord was faithful and was with Tom through by-pass heart surgery, and all of the complications brought about during his 45 day hospitalization.

Tom and Dorothy, as previously mentioned, have four children. Tommy, the oldest, lives in Texas City, Texas. Tamara and her two children, Derick and Sharla, live in Tyler, Texas. James, his wife Teresa, and their daughter, Taylor, live in Valdosta, Georgia. Melody, her husband Orlin McClain, and their three children, Thomas, Caitlin, and MaKenna, live in Pasadena, Texas.
