RANDY CLIFTON FAMILY

Bro. Randy Clifton was born in Oklahoma but spent his early years in Fort Worth. His family moved to the Huntsville area in 1972 when he was 10 years old, and Randy has made this home since that time.

In 1988 Bro. Randy read a book entitled "Eighty Eight Reasons why The Lord Is Coming Back In 1988." That book made him realize he should get ready for the coming of the Lord. A Friend of Bro. Randy's, Larry Morris, asked him to go with him to the Huntsville Pentecostal Church. He accepted the invitation and felt the Spirit of God move in his life. The next two years included a move to Virginia, where he once again attended a Pentecostal church. He at that time repented and was baptized in Jesus name. However, Satan was trying to convince him that drugs and alcohol could bring happiness. Still struggling, trying to find happiness, Bro. Randy returned to the Huntsville area in 1990, and once again attended the Huntsville Pentecostal Church. He found his way to an old fashion altar and received the Holy Ghost, and has been faithfully serving the Lord since that time. And even though the Lord did not come back for His church in 1988, Randy is still serving God and looking for that day when the Lord will return for His church.

Bro. Randy has two children…Randy Jr., who is 16 years of age, and Laurie, who is 14. He is a blessed father, as both Randy and Laurie love the Lord and are very active in HPC's youth group.

Both Randy Jr and Laurie plan to attend college after graduating from high school. They are open to God's will for their future, and want to go where God wants them to go and do what God wants them to do.

Bro. Randy's desire is that he might be influential in winning someone to the Lord, and that he and his family will grow in the Lord and be all that God wants them to be.
