DARYL AND STEPHANIE CLENNEY Bro. Daryl Clenney was born in Jackson, Tennessee. Sis. Stephanie Clenney was born in Liberty, Texas. They met while attending Jackson College of Ministries in Jackson, Mississippi. Their friendship began by studying together. That friendship grew, and before long, his main interest after getting off work every day was to search the campus for her so they could spend time together. He finally realized that Stephanie Brashier was everything he was looking for in a wife and therefore he spent the next two years trying to convince her of that. And he says "I'm glad I did." Bro. Clenney spent his early childhood years in Alabama, and teenage years in Africa, as the son of a missionary family. He received the Holy Ghost at the age of 18 in Kenya, Africa, and felt his call to the ministry shortly thereafter. Sis. Clenney was also brought up in this truth. She received the Holy Ghost when she was 14 years old and has remained faithful to God since that time. She attributes what she is today to two very special women in her life. She says "I am very thankful for a mother who always made sure that we were present at every church service. I was also very blessed to have a wonderful pastor's wife that took me under her wing and taught me so much in the music department. As we all know, Sis. Clenney is blessed with a beautiful voice and she is a very talented musician. Besides her love for music, Sis. Clenney enjoys crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles, and being with her family. When Bro. Clenney is not preaching or studying the Word, he enjoys the outdoors .hunting fishing sports, and people. His friendly smile and warm handshake make each visitor and each saint feel welcome. Bro. & Sis. Clenney have been married since November 3, 1990. Their daughter, Kaitlyn, who celebrated her 8th birthday November 16th, has brought much joy into their lives; and if her talent exhibited playing the tamborine and drums is any indication of her musical abilities, we'd say she is following in her mother's footsteps. We are thankful
the Lord sent the Clenneys to Huntsville Pentecostal Church. Their desire
is to see the church in Huntsville flourish and their prayer is for salvation
of their families and lost souls in Huntsville. |
